I grew up between Austria and Serbia, two very different worlds that taught me the same thing: the most important thing when you arrive somewhere new is feeling genuinely welcomed. Not processed. Not checked in. Welcomed.
I moved to Dubai five years ago, not for a job or a short assignment, I chose it. I fell in love with the energy, the ambition, and the unexpected warmth of a city that is home to people from 200 countries. But I also know how disorienting arriving here can be, especially if you do not speak Arabic, do not know the neighbourhoods, and are doing it alone.
That is exactly why I started Pera Holiday Homes. I wanted to create the kind of stay I wished had existed when I arrived a beautiful, fully furnished apartment with someone you can actually call. Someone who will stock your fridge before you land, pick you up from the airport if you need it, and explain which supermarket is closest and where to get a SIM card in the first ten minutes.
My background is in finance, investment strategy, and risk management skills I use every day, both to curate properties that hold their value and to advise guests who are exploring Dubai as a potential investment destination. Pera is not just a rental company. It is the first honest conversation you have about life in Dubai.
